River Landscape

This river is somewhere in the mid South Island of New Zealand, from memory. I photographed it and then later did a painting on board. I have since reworked some sections of it, making the colours more intense and increasing the sense of movement in the water. I sold the painting recently to a couple of locals who have a great collection of landscape art on their walls and needed one more.
