A Step too Far

In many of my narrative figurative paintings, I explore conflict and intimacy in men’s and women’s relationships. This painting was based on a photograph I took at art school in Sydney of actors playing out various relationship scenarios. It was exhibited at my first solo show called Overwhelmed held at the Toi Poneke Art Gallery in Wellington in 2005.
