Walkabout

This digital artwork started life as an interesting texture of different printing inks on the mixing palette when I was monoprinting. I liked the colours and patterns and so worked with the image digitally to develop it into an abstracted, maplike landscape. The warm colour palette reminds me of Australia, where I lived for over 20 years, and the lines and dots of Aboriginal hence the title.
